What we do…
Casa Mia Care Center is a Community-Based Residential Facility (CBRF) Class AA. We offer long-term care as well as respite care. Transitional respite care from inpatient stays is provided to assess consumers needs & abilities to return to independent living. We work closely with case management & psychiatrists to ensure a strong care team approach for the success of every consumer.

We are a proud leader in CRS documentation in Wisconsin. We have had recognition from DHS for our detailed documentation and program effects since becoming CRS-CLSS provider in 2017.
-
As of January 2024, we have been certified to provide CCS residential documentation.
-
We provide close monitoring of medications to help consumers manage all medical and mental health concerns. Consumers participate in routine medical and mental health appointments. Management provides support and advocacy to ensure the consumer is heard.
-
We provide daily skill building activities and routine to help promote independence. Staff support consumers through their journey to live life with purpose.
-
We believe community integration of individuals is one of the keys to recovery. Consumers have the ability to participate in a pen pal activity with school children to help break stigma of mental illness with the next generation, engage in community outreach events through Casa Mia Cookies, have one-on-one time to choose person-centered activities, as well as recurring activities like bowling, Lion’s Club bingo, library events, etc.
-
Through the years we have noticed there’s a need for supportive services for individuals before returning home. We have seen continued rehospitalizations due to people not being ready. Casa Mia offers short term respite care to help manage medications and offer support through the recovery process. We work along side case managers to ensure all needs are met before returning home or obtaining new housing.
